Jazz vocalist Danielle Reich fell in love with French music while pursuing a degree in opera. After crossing genres to become a jazz vocalist, Danielle was delighted to discover the repertoire shared between popular French music and the Great American song book. She delved deeper into French chanson and jazz manouche (also known as Gypsy Jazz), and became known for the repertoire, performing at the Manouche N.W. festival in Bellingham, WA, with founding band Nuages, for the Alliance Française of Austin and Houston, and around Southeast Texas with her gypsy jazz band Swing Rendezvous.
Danielle is delighted to perform at Glade Arts Foundation this month with Stephan Badreau, a French (now Texan) guitar maestro, author and educator, as well as acclaimed bassist and composer Thomas Helton, co-founder of the Houston Composers Salon and PET Theater.
Glade Arts Foundation is committed to keeping our patrons and staff safe. Limited seating is available with social distancing measures in place. No reservations larger than 8 people are allowed for now.
